HS2 (High speed rail link from London to Birmingham£56,000,000,000£4,648,000,000Its a slightly faster journey for the first 150 miles between London and Birmingham by 2026... and then by 2033, as far as Manchester and Leeds... and the NAO says that timetable is unrealistic.  And that still leaves High Speed over 120 miles short of Scotland.  And our percentage contribution to this England-only project assumes it comes in on budget!http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-37981840

Output created in Scotland but taxed through HQs in rUK (over 5 years)n/a£5,000,000,000Even though many goods and services are created in Scotland, the VAT and taxation is based on the company's HQ address, so it counts in England's contribtion to the Union! There are very few reciprocal taxation anomalies counting in Scotland's favour. These are taxes we don't receive whilst being in the UK, where companies who operate within Scotland but pay tax from their English HQ. Asda, Morrisons, Tesco, B&Q, Argos, Primark, McDonalds, KFC, Halfords - just to name a few of the companies that pay 'English' tax on Scottish earnings. these companies would have to start paying tax to iScotland.

Airport Passenger Dutyn/a£1,500,000,000£1.5 billion is based on the 24 million passenger flights at the lowest APD level; so in reality, this will actually be higher.
This tax will possibly be scrapped in iScotland rather than receipted by the Scottish Government; meaning cheaper flights to/from Scotland for you, me and businesses.

Subsiding rUK Pensions (over 6 years of lower life expectancy)n/a£11,230,000,000Sadly, life expectancy in Scotland is 74 but in rUK its 80. So we in Scotland pay our NIC for 40+ years, and only get 6 years state pension, whilst rUK gets 12 years (based on 68 as the retirement age; which is the target pension age by 2030). Without a differential pension age, Scotland subsidises rUK.
But that scare story about demographics will hopefully become an issue as our life expectancy increases!
Based on a figure of £144 per week pension on day 1 of independence, with 5% of the Scottish population being pensioners, and there being 52 weeks in a year; I calculate that rUK pensioners are being subsidised to the tune of nearly £2 billion annually. *citation required

Oil tax reciepts lost with the redrawing of the coastal boundaries in 1999 (over 5 years)£0£10,000,000,000Just prior to the formation of the Scottish Parliament, treacherous weasels Dewar and Blair redrew the coastal boundaries to cede massive amounts of territorial waters from Scotland to England. So all oil (and fishing, offshore windfarms, etc.) revenue from these areas are now recorded as English tax receipts, robbing us of further potential revenue that makes an even stronger case for independence.

whisky exports£0£3,500,000,000Whisky's export duty is deemed at the port it leaves the UK from (e.g. Felixstowe), so it counts towards England's contribtion to the Union! there may be a lot more, up to £3.5 Billion annually for all whisky related taxes.http://www.scottish.parliament.uk/S4_ScotlandBillCommittee/Inquiries/Scotch_Whisky_Association.pdf http://www.scotch-whisky.org.uk/news-publications/news/swa-urges-uk-government-to-abolish-alcohol-duty-escalator/

Labour's PPI fiasco (over 30 years) £0£30,000,000,000ok, we cannot really get out of this one, as Labour have asked us to pay for this one for the next 30 years. But this is part of the great fictional Scottish deficit, from paying over 30 years what could have been built for a tenth of the cost.
26
Tax Recipts from Scotland that stay down in England
£100,820,227,000Yes, that's over £100 billion that we wouldn't have to contribute towards "national projects", or taxes that would stay in Scotland.
27
UK Debt£1.4 TRILLION£117 BILLIONThe UK Government have stated they will take on ALL UK debt (as the successor nation, international law says they would have to do that anyway). So iScotland would not be renaging on debt, as often portrayed by BT. The Scottish Government have said it is prepared to take on its per capita share of debt (8.4%). And as Scotland has been a net contributor to the UK, this debt has not been racked up to benefit us.http://wingsoverscotland.com/night-bombing/
28
Building up London until 2050£1.3 TRILLION£130 BILLIONYes, cos you can't possibly spend enough money on London! Based on our 9.5% tax contibution, that's likely to be a whopping £130 billion of Scottish money contributing to this project of 'national importance' over the next 35 years!http://www.cityam.com/1406740920/how-13-trillion-needs-be-spent-infrastructure-by-2050-stay-competitive
29
So in addition to the previous identifiable savings, there's the prospect of further savings, but the share of UK Debt does need to be negotiated; and hopefully after independence, rUK will re-evaluate its London-centric view?
