FAQS

What is the cut off date for regsitration? March 4, 2015.

Is the Family Expo the same as the Summer Camp Expo? Yes and no. We have a new name and a new location.  While we want summer camps to come out, meet families, and sign up campers, we've made the change to accomodate other businesses who are intersted in meeting Forsyth Families.

Can I purchase more than one table? Sure. Our online form is set up to accept registration for one table, so if you want to add more, please email Denise or call her at 413-7610.

How many families are you expecting? Great question! Families will not be required to pre-register, so it's impossible to say at this time. However, based on the average attendance of the last two Summer Camp Expos, we had approximately 150 families per year. However - this event is going to include MUCH, MUCH more than we've offered in the past. We can't share all the details yet, but when we announce the schedule, we believe there will be MANY families who are excited to come out and join us.

Will I be able to sell from my table? Sure, though there may be certain exceptions. We can discuss any concerns you have. Feel free to call Denise at 413-7610.

Is there a policy about Direct Sales Vendors? When it comes to direct sales, our policy has been first come, first serve.  If you want to check with Denise first, to see if another direct sales rep has signed up for th event, feel free to contact her.  Otherwise, when she gets your registration, if the organization is already represented, she will let you know.  While we only allow one represntative per direct sales organization to sign up for our events, you may have more than one representative work the table.  That is between you and your direct sales peers.

What time is set up and tear down? Set up is between 9 AM and 12:30 PM. Though the event doesn't start until 1, our experience tells us that someone ALWAYS arrives early. We ask our vendors to be set up 30 minutes ahead of time so that they can relax a little bit and take a breath before families begin to arrive. The event ends at 5 PM and tear down should not begin before hand.  It's distracting...  It makes guests feel that they need to hurry up and leave...  And therefore, it's unfair to the other vendors who may have sales and / or sign ups impacted by a lost customer. Please do not tear down early.

Will food be available?  Yes, the Winston-Salem Fairgrounds will have concessions open for food purchase.
