FIRST! Rotary District 7950 Membership Committee is planning
a special day to assist you to meet the goals for this year!
 
All club presidents are asked to name a club membership representative and send them to the membership seminar on Saturday, September 28 at the Fairhaven Senior Center 229 Huttleston Ave Fairhaven MA  8:30am through 2:30pm including lunch.
 
A day of learning including strategies for growth and retention will be offered through stimulating workshops and panel discussions. Come prepared to share your experience, and open to learn from others across the district.
 
SECOND!!  A “New Rotarian Orientation Program”
is planned for the same day!
 
We ask that you encourage and sponsor the new Rotarians (under two years) in your club to participate in a special celebratory program designed for them, to take place at the same place and same time.  This opportunity to meet and network with incoming Rotarians, and to learn about avenues of service and collaboration will enhance their participation in your club and allow them to experience Rotary on broader level. 
A service project supporting your community will be a part of this experience.
 
Please ensure each person registers by September 7 allowing us to purchase the necessary materials to be utilized and plan for lunch. Sorry but last-minute entrants will not be possible. Each new Rotarian will bring home 25 individual sacks of toiletries etc. prepared to distribute to homeless members of your community.  Contact appropriate agencies in advance to determine who best can assist you in distribution.
