Thank you to Highmark Delaware for sponsoring our Keynote Speaker.

Our annual Caregiver Conference is now virtual

Caregiving:

Thriving not just Surviving

Once again Easterseals is partnering with the Division of Services for Aging and Adults with Physical Disabilities to bring you our annual Caregiver Conference - only this year it's virtual and it's for a week!  The conference may look a little different this year, but it is still the only conference in Delaware focused specifically on family caregivers!

Our theme this year is "Caregiving: Thriving not just Surviving".  Each day, attendees will learn from our speakers - most of whom are or have been caregivers themselves - tools that will help you thrive in your caregiving journey. Although we won't be in person, we will still have opportunities for you to connect with other caregivers and ask questions of our speakers. We'll even have a way for you to get information about local resources.  Click here to see what we have planned during the week - Caregiver Week Agenda.

Again this year, Highmark Delaware is sponsoring our keynote speaker, Barry J. Jacobs, Psy. D, clinical psychologist and family therapist.  With a passion for enhancing support for family caregivers, he has authored several books and articles, as well as presented nationally and internationally. He even appeared on the Dr. Phil Show in 2017 as a caregiving expert.  We are thrilled to have Dr. Jacobs join us and are sure you will enjoy his engaging presentation!

This is one event you don't want to miss, be sure to check back regularly for updates.
