Waiver	In consideration of this entry being accepted I hereby for myself, heirs, executors, and administrators waive and release any claims I may have against Sports Action Reaction LLC, BestLife.Events, Town of Westfield, USA Track and Field, USATF-NJ, B.E.S.T. Systems LLC, and any and all Parties, Groups, Organizations, Volunteers, Sponsors, and (or) any Representatives involved in the Westfield Turkey Trot events for any and all injuries which I may suffer as a result of my participation in this event whether in-person on the event dates or in any of the related virtual activities offered remotely. I understand that running, walking and fitness activities may present certain health or safety risks and I agree I am responsible for my own well being. I certify that I am physically able to participate in this event. I understand safety is the top priority of this event and that numerous health and safety rules/guidelines have been put in place by the event management team. I have fully read, understand, and agree to abide by and cooperate with all instructions/decisions/rules of the event management team as posted on the event website, in emails/texts, in this waiver, and/or via announcements on event day as they pertain to safety at the live event(s), in respect to covid-19 for both the live event(s) and virtual activities, and agree to follow all local regulations along my chosen routes. I understand that dogs, other pets, in-line skates, skateboards, bicycles, and similar devices are not allowed on the live event courses. Furthermore, I understand the risks and possibility of contracting covid-19 or any other virus or illness at an in-person gathering and take personal responsibility for that risk. By providing my email address I agree to receive emails regarding this or similar events by Sports Action Reaction/BestLife.Events. I grant full permission to use any photos, video, recording, or other record of my attendance at or participation in any and all activities related to this event for legitimate purposes without compensation or remuneration, including those shared by me on the events' social media pages, by using the events' hashtag, or submitted in any other way to race officials such as by email. By agreeing to this waiver, I certify that I am either over 18 years of age or that I am the parent/legal guardian of this registrant who is under 18 and agree on their behalf. I also understand that in the extraordinary circumstances surrounding covid-19, the live event may be cancelled or capacity reduced for health and safety reasons out of the event management teams’ control and live event registrations will be converted to virtual registrations as necessary.
