ALL OTHER EVENTS WILL OCCUR OCTOBER 1-NOVEMBER 1, 2022.
YOU MUST COMPLETE GENERAL REGISTRATION #29895 AND CHECKOUT YOUR CART BEFORE YOU CAN REGISTER FOR INDIVIDUAL EVENTS.
Charlotte County "Fit for Life" Senior Games provides a fulfilling and rewarding experience for all participants. Our Olympic-style events focus on athletic competition, camaraderie and recreational opportunities. These local games are sanctioned by the Florida Sports Foundation and serve as a qualifier for the Florida Senior Games State Championships held each December.
Eligibility
Open to amateur athletes, 50 years of age and over as of December 31, 2022.
Age Divisions
Age divisions for single competitions are: 50-54. 55-59, 60-64, 65-69.70-74. 75-79, 80-84, 85-89, 90-94, 95-99, 100+.
Note: On occasion, older individuals may be seeded in a younger age division so they may compete. If an older individual medals in a lower age division, provision will be made for the next place finisher in that age division to medal as well.
Entry Fees
Entry fees are $10.00 to participate with a maximum of four (4) events. For example, an individual desiring to participate in Swimming pays a $10.00 entry fee and may participate in the 50 yard freestyle, 100 yard backstroke, 200 yard breaststroke, and 200 yard freestyle.
Charlotte County accepts VISA, Master Card, American Express, Discover & Diners Club cards as forms of payment.
Kid's Camp Connection
Feel like giving back to the community? Your donation to Kids Camp Connection assists families in need with their summer camp and swimming lesson expenses. All families requesting assistance must be qualified and live in Charlotte County.
Awards
Gold, Silver and Bronze medals will be presented in each age division of each event. If you are unable to stay or do not receive your medal at the event, you may pick it up the week after the Games are completed at Ann & Chuck Regional Park Recreation Center, 6961 San Casa Drive, Englewood, FL 34224 between the hours of 9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. Monday - Friday and 10:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. Saturday.
"Fit for Life" T-Shirts
Participants who enter the 2022 "Fit for Life" Senior Games for Track & Field by 5:00 p.m. on Friday, September 9, 2022 are guaranteed to receive a t-shirt. To ensure you receive a shirt you must register no later than September 9, 2022.
Refunds
Entry fees will only be refunded if an event is cancelled.
