This purpose of this form will help us to gather some basic information about your case, which will be used solely to put you in contact with cooperators of your choice in order to help you assess whether you are eligible for financial assistance under IRA Section 22007.
At your request, we will connect you with cooperators who provide technical assistance to help you determine if you might be eligible and if so, to prepare your claim and assemble documentation you may have to strengthen your case. We will share your information with the groups you select below who will work to schedule a time to meet with you. All those listed are cooperators or connected to cooperators with the US Department of Agriculture to implement this project. There is no charge for our assistance to you.
Section 22007 of the Inflation Reduction Act is for farmers, ranchers, and forest landowners who experienced discrimination by USDA in its farm loan programs prior to January 1,
2021, and/or are currently debtors with assigned or assumed USDA farm loan debt that was the subject of USDA discrimination that occurred prior to January 1, 2021. Those who are no longer farming and those who attempted to farm but did not end up farming are eligible.

The application process will be open from July 7, 2023, to October 31, 2023.
To apply, borrowers have the option to apply via the e-filing portal at 22007apply.gov or submit paper-based forms via mail or in-person delivery to the program’s local offices which we will share with you. Or you can work with a cooperator who will assist you in completing the application.
