R3Volution, I have Just Received Pre-approval from the makers of Fiat Empire, Permission to Air, on all Free TV Nationwide has been Given!
I have several other details to work out. Like obtaining free licensed copies and also maybe some kind of editing they will not be able to provide. But we achieved our goal, we have permission. In the coming weeks and months you are about to see the NECONs FLIP, MELT, CRASH BURN!!!!
As I have offered previously, I am an experienced campaign consultant and manager. I also served several terms as a Cable TV Commissioner, in Attleboro Massachusetts.
One big hurdle the campaign continues to have is getting the message on TV. that problem is about to be solved for almost Free, yes almost Free, just the cost to purchase and use a licensed copy of any video, once secured written permission is in hand. Will you please help?
The answer is getting to your local cable access TV Station.
We will shortly have the ability to keep Ron Paul on TV; 24/7, 365 days per year for hours on end.
Several years ago, I purchased a copy of a video called "The Clinton Chronicles" If you haven't seen it we can discuss later, but to the point.
Once I obtained the video, I contacted the producers/distributors, via the information on the package.
I was able to secure permission from them, to air the video on my local cable access. Which I did, successfully! if it's on TV, it's real?! wink
They sent me permission forms, and I had only to send them the actual dates and air times each time the video was played, also I had to agree to show the video in it's entire length.
That was very important for it legally bound the station management (some were Dems) from cutting or editing the video.
I would like for the campaign to obtain licensed copies of "From Freedom To Fascism" With Permssion Forms: for starters.
I have others in mind, but we need to wake the people up first, and ripen them to hear the freedom message.
This is going to be one of the most sweeping and comprehensive blow-backs the media will ever know!
Please help, find all videos with permission, then lets get them on cable access. We will have a better chance if the videos are not campaign commercials.

One thing you can consider
One thing you can consider doing is putting out press releases before it airs to let people know. Call it a public service message if you have to. I know our local papers here in the Boise Idaho area have done press releases for us for free for meet up events.

Access TV in danger of extinction!
Not surprisingly, in the last few years, there has been legislative moves in Congress and the FCC to eliminate local franchises that support public access channels. The big corporate telecoms say they're losing about $1 million a year per access channel they've been required to have under the local franchise agreements, so they've moved everything to either state or nationwide agreements. Once again, an example of big Corporate America in bed with government to get what they want.

Is advertising in your local paper a good idea?? I have no idea about the cable access channels but if you have any ideas about this?? Let me know.... Perhaps they have a free advertising forum on the cable network or in their newsletter or cable website...
Of course we could do a direct mailing, but this would cost more $$$

I hate to be a pessimist
I hate to be a pessimist (although I still consider myself to be an idealist who fights for what is right), but who watches cable access? I guess, though, if professionally-done videos like the ones suggested air, rather than the usual amateur crud you usually see, and people happen to channel surf through it, some may pick up on the liberty messages being sent out. Why this hasn't been done years ago is beyond me.
Another suggestion I would put in there (although fairly dated to the late 1990's, it still holds up) is the Ludwig von Mises Institute's video "Money, Banking, and the Federal Reserve". Very straightforward and easy to understand, even for the most non-knowledgeable in economic matters.
While we're at it, let's produce 30-second spots for mainstream radio & TV telling the truth about fractional reserve banking and the fraud of the Federal Reserve. Raise money for ad time, ad time, ad time, and blow the whole thing wide open for the masses to know!

Sorry, Things are not moving as fast as you like, but some things take time!
There is no money being raised and if you read the report, you would see that we are very close to running one video.
This group discusses a lot of items, call your local cable access and determine that they have a cable access channel for you to cablecast this video (Fiat Empire), get back to me. As I cannot put in on for you. It has to be done by a local person living in that particular city or town, some may not have a channel.

There have been several cable acts written and or amended by congress.
Your state my have there own cable act as well.
The feds require cable companies to provide at least three channels to the state, to be determined during each licensing cycle.
For instance, a local government, education, and citizen access.
In Massachusetts the state also has a cable act. It requires cable companies to provide cable access to each city or town in markets that they serve. They do provide longer distance service. Lets understand, they are under no requirement to go out to cow pastures...
But cable companies do serve large populated areas. We want to reach them. We are doing something that has never been done before, as far as I know! we will adapt and overcome!
So even if you may not at this time be able to place a DVD on cable yourself, you may have family and friends that you can help them, help you, help us.

I met with my cable access today. Also I drafted and sent a letter requesting broadcast permission for Fiat Empire, I will try also to get America From Freedom to Fascism.
If and when I get broadcast permission from the producer/distributors.
I will have more details. I'm trying to negotiate a general release. We will each need a licensed copy to submit to our local citizen cable access..
Important ***These DVDs may need some studio editing to make them legal for cable access... Do not jump the gun.. I will tell you what you need to do to get legal copies.. Don't use your own!
I have already secured 2 local cablecast spots per week for several weeks and I will be able to run both documentaries each week.
My local market is 15,000 subscribers. One DVD reaches that many people here your market may be larger or smaller. Do you see how powerful this is?

We did this in Chattanooga.
We did this in Chattanooga. I created a half hour video from youtubes and had it on the air for at least half an hour every day for a month or so.
It was exciting. Eventually everyone will see it but it was only $11.50 per half hour so it was doable.

Daryl if your reading this, your idea is unbelievably amazing, so please find a way to make a very user friendly to do list so that the 100,000 or so meetup groups full of average joe's can feel confident and sure of themselves to do this endeavor. This idea can a will work, and once is does people will take notice, I will even get this idea on the air (the radio that is) if you can make a simple 1,2,3, etc list of how exactly to go about it. I realize you may even be working on it as I type this, but I am real exited of the possibilities of this happening all over the country.

Okay, it looks like you all want Ron Paul to win!
First things first, go get every Ron Paul website, talk show, chat room, whatever to come read this thread... Please!!... we all need to be on the same page, to make this happen!
1. Get everyone to come here so we can get on the same page.
2. Go find Quality Videos, (quality) (site, sound, visual, content, message!)
(not campaign commercials) make a list of videos and vote on the best
ones. Then contact the producers/distributor of said videos. Videos
like, example; "From Freedom to Fascism" nothing over the top for
new viewers to see.
3. Next get a political buzz going, don't elaborate. Send a teaser! Write
to the media and say nothing more than "Operation Mighty Eagle" is on
its way. They'll help us promote the message without even knowing it.
They'll all be asking, what is Operation Mighty eagle? they wont put it
on TV, but they will tell their friends in the media that something really
big is in the works!
4. Contact your local Cable Access Studio, obtain all there names and
numbers. Many will have web addresses as well.
Also, many now have previously aired shows stored on a server that
local citizens or anyone on the Internet can go see 24/7. So people
will not have to wait for the next air time. Keep the numbers and also
send them to EltonElvis@comcast.net. Don't publish them here! We
have to many enemies!
5. More later. I will try and get permission to air the first 2 videos. If we
can get them aired in the states before the primaries we may have an
impact on the short term. In the long term we will win the hearts and
minds of the people!

It is my understanding that the most expensive part of advertising is the production of commercials. If people can be creative and do small commercials with profound words and maybe some pictures of Paul you can ask local television for time slots that they chose and it will be much cheaper. People should do this in the local meet ups.. You can raise enough money to do 30 sec ads on air.

The campaign has raised and spent millions of dollars with great effect, our organization is growing but our coverage is shrinking, thanks to Old Media.
As a citizen, YOU, yes YOU, are free to go to your local cable access TV station and create your very own TV show and talk about anything you want. or anybody. Invite ALL the Candidates on air, SAY that I/We invite all candidate to participate in our debate or invite them to send you a video clip for you to air.
By doing this you will satisfy, any legal requirement to be fair and balanced, and at the same time, if they do not respond you can play-up Ron Paul, to your hearts desire. If another Presidential candidate wants to come on your show. You are a star!
Here is something else, film the media filming Ron Paul, then air it, around the clock.
You see you can give permission to have your personal video aired across the country, as long as it is submitted by a local person or group of persons in that local city or town market.
Show your kids birthday party if you want. It does not matter!
So we have many choices here, submit videos for the stations to play and or you can learn to and produce your very own cable TV show, play clips during your show of whatever you wish, like if your discussing Ron Paul and you stop and say, were is a clip on Dr Ron Paul explaining the Federal reserve system, He is the only one in congress that understands the system. Please watch example (the fiat empire) scheduled for tomorrow evening at such and such a time, promote other shows and or air-times.
You are beginning to see what I am saying, This is the closest thing that we will ever get to a nationwide Ron Paul network. We need to do this now.
Turn your camera on Fox, or CNN use someone else's DVDs used with/by permission. Reference other websites, groups whatever!

It features Ron Paul, but is not intended and does not appear to be a campaign commercial by any regard. He's really only in it for a short time. If you haven't seen it, check it out. I feel like I could show this to my 80 year old grandma without her shitting a brick like I imagine her doing if she watched "Zeitgeist" or even parts of "Freedom to Fascism". It spells everything out in simple terms that everyone can understand and it does so in a light-hearted way, more so than FtF.
Way to go Daryl! I think this is a wonderful idea, and one that absolutely needs to be done ASAP. We must plant the seeds NOW to get this message out, and this field (public TV) is one of the most fertile. As the MSM and crap TV turns people off, more and more will turn to channel surfing, and when they stumble across THIS, word will spread like wildfire! We should try to make this a regularly-scheduled thing too, like weekly. That way at the end of the show, we can say "If you missed any part of this, tune in next week for a replay...", which will allow people to tell their friends and open their eyes as well.

I just did a quick watch of this video. Freedom to Fascism and Fiat Empire will serve our cause well.
If we run into a snag, I may need to ask Fiat to remove any campaign reference to Ron Paul that scrolls at the bottom of the screen, most people know he is running, but he is in the video and speaks for himself.
That would be a plan (B), I'd rather play it as is, if I can get us permission.
