Racing to Save Lives


Welcome to my Team In Training home page.


Just wanted to thank all the many people who have helped us achieve our goal of raising the money for Leukemia & Lymphoma. It's been a journey to get here and now the race is upon us. Looking forward to going to Disney and racing for a cure in the fight against blood cancers. We are all winners for raising money to fight these diseases.

I'm training to participate in an endurance event as a member of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's (LLS) Team In Training. All of us on Team In Training are raising funds to help stop leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin lymphoma and myeloma from taking more lives. I am completing this event in honor of all individuals who are battling blood cancers. These people are the real heroes on our team, and we need your support to cross the ultimate finish line - a cure!


My Mom, Sister Sarah and I are participating in the Disney Princess Half Marathon in honour of my Dad , Paul Simkins who was diagnosed with Mulitple Myeloma in October 2009. Thanks to research my Dad is in remission right now. The LLS has helped my family and helps many families with grants and education . Please help with any donation to help us reach our goal to participate.
