That WHY? song is awesome! I've been listening to it on repeat...can't get enough. GVB guy, do you have an advance copy of the whole album ?

Also, what do you think of Vampire Weekend? Obviously they've been getting slurped by Pitchfork & just about everyone else...

My apologies if you've already written about them...

The Russian Futurists are one of the best bands around. Everyone should check them out.

I've been listening to Born Ruffians and Port O'Brien who are both at SXSW... Cut Copy from Australia will also be there with some of their Modular bandmates and a new album in tow.

And i agree with peter about the WHY? song, although there's one point where he sounds like that douche from the Bloodhound Gang!

Don't forget Spottiswoode & His Enemies.
Experimental anti-folk rock Americana for the people yo! That's my word.

Agreed about Vampire Weekend. Heard tons about them from a friend of mine so I saw them about about two months ago and wow was I bored. Sounded like they should be opening for Jack Johnson, not Tokyo Police Club.

If you're going to mention Black Moth Super Rainbow, which you should and I'm glad you did, can't forget about The Octopus Project! They're live show is unbelievable, and with any luck maybe they'll play a set with BMSR or something.

I'll wait until sxsw releases the mp3 torrent, then download them all at once, thank you very much.
