24 things to do before turning 25

Inspired by the fabulous ladies of Simple Lovely and Dooble-Veh, I decided it was time to do some goal-setting. Since Ryan and I are both turning the big 2-5 next year, we decided to come up with a joint list of what we would like to accomplish in the next 8 months:

1. Get pregnant! (#1 on the list, of course)
2. Potty train Will. (#2 on the list… yay.)
3. Have a lovely, not-too-perfect Christmas tree
4. Ryan: Become a “Master Hunter” (http://wdfw.wa.gov/hunting/masterhunter/)
5. Take Will to pick out a Pumpkin
6. Take Will to his first WSU Basketball game
7. Shannon: Get a REAL massage
8. Shannon: Frame the beautiful sketches I made 6 years ago. Sketch again - for the first time in 6 years.
9. Have a Date With Myself: go for a run, take the longest hot shower ever, get a pedicure, spend some quality time at the fabric store/craft store/mall, lay on the sofa with a good book
10. Take a spontaneous weekend excursion
11. Shannon: Go Brunette, even if it is only for a weekend
12. Ryan: Start a photography business as a side job
13. Shannon: Sew a new duvet cover
14. Ryan: Train Duke (the giant puppy) and get him “Titled”
15. Shannon: Catch up on photo-printing and putting pictures in albums (this alone could take until June!)
16. Become more involved in the community (aka extra-curriculars for grown-ups!)
17. Sign Will up for swimming lessons
18. Pay off all debt (not a particularly fun goal, but it is important nonetheless.)
19. Go for a hike in the Umatilla National Forest
20. Ryan: take photographs of the beautiful Palouse
21. Organize! (This includes getting rid of all of the ebay/craig’s list/goodwill piles that have acculumated.)
22. Finish Ryan’s Man-Cave (also known as our office)
23. Finish Shannon’s Lady-Space, so that I will never have to enter the Man-Cave again
24. Shannon: Make a blurb book!

**Bonus Points for accomplishing these goals:
1. Buy Rosetta Stone so Ryan can start learning Italian
2. After mastering a few phrases of Italian, make Shannon a romantic spaghetti dinner and re-enact the Lady & the Tramp

I love your suggestion about going to the space needle for my date night! I've actually never eaten there, and I've only ridden up to the observation deck once. OK now I'm totally excited, lol. :)

I think our Christmas party is going to be on December 6th. That's not a for-sure date, but a pretty-sure one. That's kinda soon too, I'd better start thinking about invitations and menus and all of that! And a cute outfit, of course!

So does that Simple Sewing book teach techniques? Cause I don't know anything...at all...lol.

Thanks for leaving me comments, by the way. I get sooo excited when I'm at work and see that I have a new comment. I usually sneak onto the internet to read it, too. :)

I like your goals...good luck with #1! Kinda goes along with #20 on mine...guess we'll both be doing a lot of that! :-P

I'm commenting on one of your comments. :)

Since Will loves wolves, you should take him to Wolf Haven. It's in Tenino, WA. I've never been but I've always wanted to go there! http://www.wolfhaven.org/
