PROVIDENCE ROLLER DERBY, founded in 2004, is committed to fostering a positive, inclusive, and supportive environment for participating and engaging in the sport of flat track roller derby.
As a founding member of the Women’s Flat Track Derby Association, PRD competes against other leagues with our internationally-ranked all-stars, the Rhode Island Riveters; they are currently 80th in the world.
In addition to our all-stars, the league includes:
a farm travel team, the Killah Bees
three local teams that compete intraleague: The Mob Squad, Old Money Honeys, and Sakonnet River Roller Rats
a dedicated group of skating officials, non-skating officials, announcers, and volunteers
PRD is a 501(c)(3) non-profit charitable organization recognized by the IRS and the state of RI. We are self-governed and dedicated to making a positive impact in the lives of our skaters and community by participating in local events and activities while working to increase recognition of flat-track roller derby.
