Enjoy yourselves........definitely wish I was there! (You don't have 2 feet of snow everywhere, do you!!!!!)

We've been trying to plan a trip to Australia for several years now (my wife is Australian) and this would have been the perfect time to do it! Oh well........hoist a pint for me, as well.

I have just arrived back from a quick visit to the show.

A $5.00 entry fee for all three days.
And I got a showbag containing a 36page catalogue for the show with a coloured cover. Also the Australian Philatelic Traders' Association Year Book for 2008, a flyer for the Canberra Stamp and coin fair on the 28 Sept 2008, A copy of the March 2008 edition of Stamp News Australasia, A program of meetings for 2008 for The Philatelic Society of Canberra Inc, and finally a copy of the 21st CenturyAuctions Catalog (with coloured photos) for Sale No 9, 5th April 2008.

Lots of great frames showing many awesome collections.

And of course many stamp dealers.

I'm hoping to visit again on Sunday.

Greetings from Malaysia on a Saturday morning.
Had to get something from the office
and so decided to peep in and see what's up.
Looks like all of you there are having a jolly nice time.
Wish I could be there.

Having computer problems again at home.
Trying to con my wife into signing up as a new member.
Hope my son can fix it for me so that I can look in over the weekend.

Hi Guys and Gals,

Looks like a lot of fun last night or was it this morning.

I've just got home from my High School's 50th Anniversary reunion. Run into many people I knew or at least they knew me. Met up with one of my High school loves ( and Primary School) that was back in 1961. She looks even better but I've gone to seed.

Met up with the sisters of one of best mates at school, only to find he died four years ago. Met two of the teachers, who had taught me- won was me Inglishh teechair in forms 1-2, the other was my PE reacher, who examined me for my Bronze Life saving medallion in 1962. Funnile enuff, I past Inglish in forms 1-2 in the top 5% for da yeer., butt it were orl downhill from dare. I also got my Bronze medallion.

Have good Sunday---all.

Just rehydrating after being in the old school, forgot how bl....dy hot those classrooms were(even though they've air conditioning now. It was 40C outside and considerably hotter in the jimnasium. Tonight I'm off to my nephews 40th birthday bash, so don't know what state I'll be tamara..

Best wishes to all.

Our quarterly stamp market today at Brookvale (Sydney) was a little quieter thanks to a few regulars being in Canberra, but nevertheless a good day.

27 degrees C in Sydney today (about 80 fahrenheit) so for once it is milder here than in Melbourne or Adelaide, which have been close to 40C. 8)

Hi Margot, I was on a damn bus "trying" and failing to get a bit of sleep. Even drinking about six pints of beer while I was waiting for the Bus the bus to leave did not help. Just got back home, and I have had around 6 hours sleep in three nights.

But it was well worth it, and I have the rest of my life to sleep. Melbourne next year will be so much closer. :) Sadly, one of the sets of Germany I purchased MUH, finished up stuck to the envelope the dealer put them in. They will now be MNG.

Memo to self: Interstate Show - Fly next time. What was I thinking?

John,

Close up (perhaps scan per page) scans will do more justice to your masterpieces.
For people like me (and other members) not familiar with WA Fiscals,
a closer scan would be very educational.
Hope you can oblige a page or two of these, please?

Thanks.
