UP SLIS - NCCA Archives and Records Management Census in the Philippines (ARC Philippines)
Greetings and thank you for participating in our census!

The ARC Philippines Individual Census is part of an effort by the University of the Philippines School of Library and Information Studies, funded by the National Commission for Culture and the Arts, to provide baseline data on the current state of archiving and records management in the country. The census focuses on identifying and understanding the profession through profiling and examining the background, characteristics, and needs of archivists and records managers across varying institutions and contexts. As a pilot census, this endeavor hopes to provide for the first time a scientifically sound measurement and a suitable framework for future studies on archiving and records management in the Philippines.

This individual census is specifically targeted to personnel who are currently employed in an office handling records and/or archives in their day-to-day operations. Every response is important as it will assist the UP SLIS in developing a graduate program / certificate course on the interrelated disciplines of archives and records management which will be offered to all individuals working in the records/archives profession.
