Mark Eichler is the father of six wonderfully unique and different children. He loves spending time with his kids, teaching them to ride a bike or catch a ball, going on family trips or just talking. His favorite time of the day is story time (and not because it comes right before bedtime, although that doesn't hurt). Reading to the kids, as they snuggle up to him on the couch or in bed is a favorite activity. During the last few years, mainly due to one his children’s dislike of the over 100 children's books they have at home, Mark has been writing his own stories -- some based on experiences of the family others completely fictional -- and reading them to his kids in the evenings. After some urging and convincing by family members, Mark decided to share those stories (as well as create some new ones) so that more kids can enjoy story time with their moms and dads.

In this second installment of Abey's adventures, the captivating author, Mark Eichler, takes little Abey and all his readers on a thrilling and exciting trip to the aquarium. When you finish reading this sweet and touching story with your child, it is likely that your next family trip will be to an aquarium, so be prepared!

Chock full of interesting and educational details about different fish, as well as facts about penguins and whales, your child will not even realize how much he or she is learning, while you both are sure to enjoy experiencing the aquarium through the eyes of Abey.

My 6 year old daughter asks me to read it again and again, and of course, we are now going to have to visit a real-life aquarium sometime soon!

I look forward to reading about any future adventures with little Abey. I hope the author, Mark Eichler, keeps these literary treasures coming! I would highly recommend this book for children of all ages!

Little Abey loves fish. He watches videos about them. But he loves visiting his Uncle Mike's house best of all because he can see Angelfish, guppies, Blue Fish, and Oscar fish there. Can you imagine how excited Abey was when his parents said they were taking him to the aquarium? Abey couldn't wait! When he got there, he saw very big Beluga Whales and thought they must be the biggest fish in the whole world. But his mom explained that Whales are not really fish, but mammals. Then Abey saw an even bigger whale, called the Blue Whale. Abey even saw penguins there. His mom explained that Penguins are not fish, but birds and their feathers are special because they keep the Penguins warm. Abey learned a lot that day, but he was a little sad because nobody at the aquarium would let him pet the fish, even when he promised not to hurt them. But, just as Abey and his family were ready to leave, they got a special surprise! Children, parents and teachers will adore this book, while they learn a great deal. It will keep you interested and anxious to turn every page. It's a wonderful book which I highly recommend. Another great book by amazing author, Mark Eichler!
