Bosley's Place Foster Application
Thank you so much for your interest in fostering with us and helping us to save the lives of orphaned puppies!  

The Bosley’s Place foster home program is a great way to help young puppies move on towards a happy and healthy life and it’s a very rewarding experience.  We don't have a shelter, all of our puppies are in loving foster homes from intake to adoption. By providing a puppy a temporary home, fosters help free up space in our nursery allowing us to intake more homeless/orphaned underage and critical care puppies that need 24 hour care.

Responsibilities of a Foster Parent:
• Provide a safe, clean, caring environment
• Provide food, water, toys/enrichment, and shelter
• Provide exercise and socialization as appropriate
• Provide house training, crate training, leash training, basic commands and indoor manners
• Monitor any medical and/or behavioral problems
• Transport to/from any necessary vet/training appointments
• Transport to/from adoption events
• Above all, love and care for any foster puppy as if they were your own

Rescue is not always easy work and at times a thankless job, but we promise you a heartwarming journey with a tremendous amount of personal fulfillment if you decide to foster for our organization.

What age puppy are you interested in fostering?  We try to minimize movement of the puppies as much as possible so the age you select is the age we would try to place with you until adoption. *

Please include: 1) Who do you foster for (name of rescue or shelter) 2) What types of animals have you or are you currently fostering? 3) What health issues (incl. viruses, bacterial infections) have any of the animals had/have? 4) What age animal have you fostered? 5) Do you have experience bottle-feeding? Not completing this section in its entirety will disqualify you immediately from our foster program - it is very important.
Frequently the puppies we rescue are in litters and we try to keep a few siblings together until adoption.  Are you able to foster mulitple puppies together?

Are you able to commit to fostering the puppy until it is adopted? This could be anywhere from just a few days to a few months...puppies tend to get adopted quickly. *
Are you able to transport the puppy(s) to weekend adoption events? These are currently held from 11-3 on Sundays at our adoption center in Smyrna. On occasion, we do participate in fairs/festivals and puppy parties; foster puppies need to attend those as well. *
