PA Forward Civic and Social Literacy Session Proposal Form
Submit a proposal for an educational session for "Engaging the Next Generation of Civic Leaders," the Pennsylvania Forward Civic and Social Literacy one-day conference, to be held at The Penn State Dickinson School of Law, Carlisle, PA, on May 21, 2014.

Proposals are requested on topics that meet the theme of engaging the next generation of civic leaders

Proposals will be evaluated using the following criteria:

     1) The content of the proposed program is relevant to the theme: "Engaging the Next Generation of Civic Leaders."

     2) The presentation meets adult learning needs. Presentations that are not "lecture only" and include elements of interaction with the audience are encouraged.

     3) Information presented will create learning extensions for the participants. What can the audience adapt or apply to their own situations?

     4) Proposal is organized, clear, and concise.

To provide maximum sharing of ideas, the Proposal Review Committee may combine presentations and ask presenters to participate in a lightning round format (5 - 10 minute each, for a total of 45 minutes), a panel discussion (45 minutes), or a roundtable discussion (45 minutes). Presenters will be asked to share their presentations. By submitting a proposal, you are agreeing to these conditions. Presenters whose proposals have been selected will be contacted by end of February 2014.

Indicate your preference for type of presentation: Individual/Team (indicate length of time for educational content), Panel is a group of organizations presenting one topic; Roundtable indicates leading a small group discussion on your topic, Poster Session is an opportunity to use space to present ideas one-on-one to visitors to a vendor table area.
