Drawing Essentials Live Stream Registration: Lesson 4 (Fabric & Still Life Composition) - Friday, May 08, 2020

CALUMET AND STONG COLLEGES invite you to attend our Drawing Essentials Live Stream: Lesson 4 (Fabric & Still Life Composition).

Drawing Essentials is a series of miniature workshops where you will learn the basics of drawing, and work through several lessons (schedule below) to design and draw your very own still life artwork. All you need is a pen/pencil and paper.

This live-stream focuses on Lesson 4 (Fabric & Still Life Composition), and is an opportunity for participants to show their work to peers and ask questions to the miniseries facilitator (Dayna Densmore).

Why Fabric & Still Life Composition?
A still-life is a type of drawing or painting that features an arrangement of inanimate objects - such as bowls, vases, fruit, and flowers. Known as the touchstone of visual art, still-life compositions have been created since the Egyptians of 15th Century BCE. Learn how to put your new-found skills and knowledge about the elements of art (i.e. line, shape, value, space, texture, and the principles of design) to work!

Take a break, decompress and partake in this self-care oriented workshop, while creating your very own personalized masterpiece!
