If you started in the Crossing, you can get some starting coin by selling branches to Mags. Forage them outside the northeast gate. Mags is near the bazaar.

If you started in Riverhaven, you'll have to gain enough foraging to sell herbs to old Maisie. She wanders the streets of Riverhaven.

Don't set off people's autoscripts without a valid reason.

Don't use the Empaths for healing when you don't require healing. This can get you blacklisted, and you'll have to visit the NPC Healers.

Don't trigger the AutoGates if you don't intend to use them.

Get some time under your belt before asking for forged or tanned materials (or any other stuff that takes time for players to make).

Nobody likes to craft items for people that only stay for a month.

Expect a few welcome deaths. If you intend to circle right away, GET FAVORS!
