The Singers!
Carol Harris is a Philadelphia singer. For over forty-years, she has been a part of the Philly Jazz scene. Khadijah “Renee” is a Jazz Songtress in the vein of the Great Ladies of Jazz. Her resonant tones remind you of the ladies who paved their way through the male dominated syncopated instrumental ingenious sounds of Be-Bop & Classical Jazz from as early as the 1950′s. If you close your eyes while listening to her, you may hear reminiscent echoes of Sarah, Ella, Billie, Nancy, Dinah and Gloria.
Jean Lenke exhibits an intuitive sense of melody, harmony and rhythm and a magical voice reminiscent of Dusty Springfield, Joni Mitchell, Carol King, Eva Cassidy, Carley Simon, and Diana Krall. “I started my musical career late in life. My love of music had always been there - I just needed to tap into my voice as an artist. It just goes to show - you're never to late to have the time of your life."
