East Coast Dance Competition 2017 Submission Form



Thank you for your interest in Culture Shock® DC's 2016 East Coast Dance Competition! ECDC is a premiere dance competition located in Washington, DC. Culture Shock® DC is proud to host some of the best local, national, and international hip hop dance teams to compete in front of a panel of renowned judges for the grand prize of $2,500!!!  Please refer to the registration details listed below:

1.Submission Deadline and Fees:

To be considered for participation in ECDC, this registration form must be submitted by Saturday, September 23, 2017 at 11:59pm.  Only one registration form should be completed per team.

A $25 non-refundable, submission fee is required per team in order to be considered for participation in ECDC.  Culture Shock DC must receive this $25 submission fee on or prior to Saturday, September 23rd at 11:59pm.  Teams that have submitted for ECDC but have not completed the necessary payment will not be considered for participation in ECDC events.  Please note that teams that have submitted and paid the $25 submission fee but have not been chosen to participate in ECDC events will not be refunded the amount of the submission fee.

2. Payment Methods:

a) Upon submission, a Square App payment request can be generated and sent to your team email address.  Square payment requests may be fulfilled using a debt or credit card.  

b) Venmo us your submission fees to our account 'CultureShockDC'.  Please make sure to leave a note stating your team name and and the purpose for your payment (ECDC submission fee) in the note so we know that your team has been accounted for.

c) Cash or check can be sent to our Culture Shock office address -- if this option is selected, we will email your team email address to provide you with the office address.

3. Rules and Regulations:

4. Key Dates:

September 23, 2017 - Deadline for East Coast Dance Competition registration

October 7, 2017 - Applicants will be notified of participation status by Culture Shock® DC
a) Applicants may be selected to showcase in the East Coast Dance Competition Pre-Show
b) Applicants may be selected to compete in the East Coast Dance Competition
c) We appreciate all applicant submissions, however there is no guarantee that applicants will be chosen for Pre-Show or competition
