Empirical Reasoning Center Workshop Sign Up
The Empirical Reasoning Center will be offering a series of open workshops on using software to think critically about organizing, analyzing, and visualizing data. This includes qualitative, quantitative, and/or geospatial data. Workshops will be offered in Excel, R, Python, and QGIS. We will also offer a workshop focused specifically on downloading and exploring Census Data.

All of these workshops are beginner workshops so you do not need any familiarity with the software to attend!

Workshop Schedule:
October 26:  Introduction to Data Analysis in Excel 1-2PM
October 26:  Introduction to R 2:30-4PM
November 9: Introduction to Python 1:30-3PM
November 9: Introduction to GIS (Geographical Information Science) and Spatial Data 3-4:30PM
November 16: Exploring Census Data with Excel/Social Explorer 1-2:30PM

All workshops will be held in 102 Milstein Center at Barnard College.
Workshops have limited attendance, so they will be on a first come, first serve basis.
