Please complete this form to register your 4th - 8th grade student(s) to participate in the MTHEA Homeschool Geo Bee on Wednesday, November 19, 2014 at 1:30 pm at the Williamson County Public Library in Franklin, Tennessee. This is the school-level bee of the National Geographic Society Bee that potentially qualifies the winner to compete at the state and national levels. Only students in grades 4-8 who have not reached their 15th birthday on or before September 1, 2014 and are homeschooled full-time in Middle Tennessee are eligible to participate, including students enrolled under a private umbrella school and/or those registered with their county school district (LEA) as homeschoolers. Students who attend public, private, parochial, charter or virtual schools are not eligible to participate in this bee, but should contact their school for participation information. Only one registration form needed per family.
By submitting this registration you agree that: (1) the student(s) registered below meet all eligibility requirements; (2) decisions of bee officials are final; (3) MTHEA, bee officials and the library facility are held harmless for any loss, damage or legal liability; (4) photographs and/or video of participants and audience members may be taken; names and likenesses may be utilized in the media.
The cost to participate in this bee is $2 per student for MTHEA members and $4 per student for non-MTHEA members. MTHEA membership is *not* a requirement to participate in the Geographic Bee, but we would love to serve you and your family this year. Find membership information here:
