The HANDLE® Approach to the Autism Spectrum

This 12-hour introductory course teaches the Foundations and Applications of HANDLE through the lens of the Autism Spectrum Disorder. It is a special opportunity to understand the process through which Judith Bluestone developed her theories of autism. It may just be life-changing for you, too, as you gain the “HANDLE eyes” to better understand those on the autism spectrum.

In this 2-day workshop you will:

  • Begin to understand perplexing behaviors by recognizing the underlying neurological irregularities which they communicate.
  • Learn how to use Gentle Enhancement® to prevent crises, support healthy development, and help individuals reach their life and learning goals.
  • Gain a toolkit of gentle, effective activities which you can use to reduce stress, and improve learning and focus

About HANDLE:

HANDLE – Holistic Approach to Neuro-Development and Learning Efficiency – is a gentle, non-drug alternative that helps the brain form new neural connections and patterns, reorganizes the sensory/motor systems, and helps to relieve stress.  It is a highly effective therapy that enhances all forms of learning both in children and adults.
