Due to the COVID-19 public health crisis, the Golden West Campus has been closed since March 17th, 2020. As a result, ICC's traditional Collection of Kindness, which allows for clubs to drop off donations to the Campus Life office, has been suspended until our campus is open again to students and the public.
At our first remote ICC Meeting on Tuesday, April 7th, 2020, we heard from our student clubs and organizations that during this extraordinary time, your desire to give back to the community is stronger than ever. This is one of the many things that makes our student clubs and organizations so truly special, and we are incredibly proud of your spirit of giving. As such, we've created our Virtual Acts of Kindness log so that club members can individually report their current charitable efforts.
In creating our list, we wanted to make sure that every club member has the opportunity to participate, and that no individual felt the pressure to jeopardize their own health and safety in order to contribute to this initiative. As such, we've tried to be creative and flexible by providing both in-person opportunities that adhere to health and safety guidelines around physical distancing and personal protective equipment, as well as opportunities that you can participate in entirely online. Additionally, we have provided an "Other" space for you to enter your own ideas, since we know this list isn't exhaustive.
***All Acts of Kindness (whether in-person or online) will be counted equally!!!***
At the end of each month, stipends will be awarded from the ICC Account to Individual Club Accounts in our traditional amounts for 1st place ($60.00), 2nd place ($40.00), and 3rd place ($20.00).
