LGBTQ+ Film Night: The Color Purple
When: Friday 9th November, 6.30-10pm
Where: George Young Hall, Lifecare Centre, 2 Cheyne St, Edinburgh, EH4 1JB

Access: Wheelchair accessible, set across one level with no steps, designated disabled toilets, gender neutral toilets, BSL may be available upon request at booking.

Based on bisexual author Alice Walker's Pulitzer Prize-winning novel, The Color Purple chronicles the traumatic life of Celie, a Southern African-American woman living in the early 20th century. Celie overcomes racism and sexism and triumphantly finds herself in the process. Join us and our guest speaker at this queer community film screening to mark the end of this year’s Black History Month.
