Zoe Kahr, Executive Director of the Memphis Brooks Museum of Art, has asked me to organize an exhibition that celebrates the historical legacy of the Memphis College of Art. This will be the closing exhibition in Overton Park before the museum moves downtown in 2025.
As part of my research, I have developed a questionnaire for MCA graduates, faculty, and administrators. The information will be used both for developing the exhibition checklist and for the accompanying catalog. Please complete the questionnaire and return it as soon as possible as our time frame is very tight. And please share the link with as many of your colleagues as you can. The goal is to produce as full a picture of what the college was like, and to acknowledge the many successes of graduates, faculty, and administrators.
Submission of a questionnaire is essential for consideration of inclusion in the project. I look forward to reading your submissions.
