Award-winning author Kimberly Brouillette is pleased to present her exciting paranormal mystery thrillers in The Monastery Murders series. The first books in the series, Secrets in the Shallows (Book 1) and Devil in the Details (Book 2) are the 2014 and 2015 Paranormal Awards winners for fiction, respectively. Book 2 also won the 2016 New Apple Award for mysteries. In addition, both books 1 and 2 have both earned 5-Stars book reviews from Readers' Favorite. The highly anticipated conclusion of the series, Method on the Madness (Book 3), has numerous rave reviews. The entire series has earned an official 5-Star rating on Readers' Favorites Book Reviews. Many of her paranormal scenes are inspired in part by her personal experiences while living in a haunted apartment for almost 3 years, plus many paranormal investigations that she has helped with.

Currently, Kimberly is writing Fury of the Fallen, Book 1 of a sequel/prequel series, The Forever Fallen. This exciting supernatural thriller will include the journey of a cursed item, a small Maine town caught in the middle of a battle between angels and demons, plus several ghosts. In addition, she is producing the entire Monastery Murder Series in audiobook format.

By late 2020, Kimberly anticipates releasing her first non-fiction book, "Lost in the Looking Glass: A Family's Journey Through Schizophrenia & Suicide." This sad memoir is inspired by the loss of her youngest daughter to suicide after 4 1/2 years of battling paranoid schizophrenia. The book will not only contain a memoir of Kimberly's struggles as a parent to help her daughter, but also the many things she wishes she had known to help her daughter while still alive. Additionally, Kimberly lays out the various significant gaps in regard to mental healthcare treatment and related industries which need to be addressed through advocacy efforts and change in the system. Information on mental health resources will be included to assist those fighting their own mental health battles or helping a loved one.

Kimberly earned her B.S. in earth science/geology from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and her M.A. in Biblical Studies from Trinity Theological College & Seminary. She has been editor and contributing editor for numerous published books and has written many published articles for periodicals and Internet blogs. Kimberly also enjoys reading, music, history, traveling, and spending time with her loved ones and 2 furbabies, Thor and Luna.

    Each character played well against the other characters. Plot was sufficiently twisted to make this reader purchase vol. 2 and 3. Each volume could have been read along as a stand alone book as there was a lot of repetition in each volume. This story line could have been released as one volume.

    This was a wonderful finish to the series. This one delved deeper into the past of the killer including when he was born. It opens with the prologue with a BANG! and I'm confident it'll catch you just like it grabbed me. The narrative is one of the author's strong suits in my opinion. She really takes you to the scene and in this case, the scene of the crime. I think this series is a good thriller with twists and turns and readers need to begin with part 1 to allow the story to really take you in! She did a terrific job and I look forward to her next series!

    This method was madness! Everything comes together in this final book of the series. If your skin has crawled or your heart skipped a beat before, it will in the pages of this walk through the mind of a truly deranged person. Everything you thought you knew, maybe you didn't! The unusual plot of this series comes to fruition with a vengeance with the idea that spirits do exist and can work to help right terrible wrongs. I certainly believe readers will enjoy this whole series. I did!

    In the first two books of the Monastery Murder series, the readers were intrigued with the haunting atmosphere of a classic murder mystery, spiced with supernatural elements. The third book has a completely different feel.

    Method in the Madness can best be described as an edge-of-the-seat thriller that grabs the reader and takes them on a suspenseful ride. The explosive elements collide as the gut wrenching, human drama unfolds. Well-written, exciting and completely absorbing, this book is a testament to the amazing talent of the author

    As much as I loved the other two, I must say that this one is now my favorite. I highly recommend it and look forward to the author’s next book.
