Recommendation for Advanced MS Courses
SCUSD offers advanced middle courses in the areas of Math, Language Arts, History, and Science. 

This form is for anyone in the school community, including parents and teachers, to recommend a student be considered for any or all advanced 7th grade courses for the 2024-25 school year. This can include:
  • Compacted Math 7/8*
  • Advanced Language Arts (ELA) 7
  • Advanced Geography & World History 7
  • Advanced Science 7
*Compacted Math 7/8 is an accelerated course that compacts all of the 7th grade math standards and approximately half of the 8th grade standards in one year.
