This new 48 page A5 (148×210mm or 5.8×8.3 inches) catalogue, profusely illustrated in colour, combines both specialised and simplified listings of New Zealand revenue and railway stamps with much background information about their purposes. An expanded introductory section includes illustrations and explanations about revenue cancellations and watermarks.
New information is included and has resulted in new sections being included - such as 1867 stamp duties with experimental separations, and also fake revenues. Pricing in the new edition has been thoroughly revised after consultation with several New Zealand stamp dealers and shows some massive rises from those in the 3rd edition which was published 11 years ago.
