Schedule
Many New England schools travel to Maine for an overnight and Whitewater Rafting Trip for Project Graduation.
After graduation, students and chaperones board a bus and head to a rafting outfitter’s base camp.
All night activities and food are available until dawn the next day.
The following day begins with breakfast and is highlighted by thrilling whitewater rafting, hiking, or other activities with classmates.
The event is staged in the main base lodge at Crab Apple – two floors of space and comfort make a long night comfortable. Crab Apple staff stay up all night with the students to monitor the fun and keep activities moving.
Food bars, snacks and meals are offered periodically throughout the night to keep the hungry teenagers happy.
Activities may include karaoke, a DJ, yearbook signings, photo booths and more.
A large living room area is open for board games, charades and cards. Most of the nights seemed to be filled with upbeat chatter and storytelling from the high school experience.
Project Graduation at Crab Apple Whitewater is Special.
Crab Apple is a family business and carefully balances safety and fun for the graduates.
Hosting Project Grads since the 1980’s, Crab Apple has many optional activities for the kids to keep them engaged overnight.

Hi parents and loved ones of Morse seniors,
We have our next Project Graduation meeting this Wednesday at Morse HS at 5:30 pm. Please join us. We'll be planning the senior trip! We've booked 3 coach buses to The Forks for June 8th and need to fill them up with seniors and chaperones! Let's create an awesome end-of-high-school experience for our kiddos.
All potential chaperones, activity leaders, and other "do-ers" are welcome!
And speaking of do-ers, you might have noticed that we threw an awesome party this past weekend at the Maine Maritime Museum. The Project Grad Auction was HUGE success! We raised $ ......... I'm not going to tell you the amount! Come to the meeting Wednesday to find out!
The very biggest thanks and credit go to Bethany and Karen D who did the lion's share of work to make it all happen. (And Katherine L even though she could not attend.)
Huge huge huge thanks also to Amee and Holly from Winnegance and Jason R, our superb chefs, and kitchen help Blaine, Troy and Gage. The food was DELICIOUS.
Heaps and heaps of gratitude to Nancy R, Missy C, Kevin P and Lisa H for volunteering and working the ENTIRE event!
We love our seniors! Everett, Sam, Sam, Helen, Gage, Zoe, and Gaffney were perfect "models" for the live auction items. Karen D designed the beautiful posters, and Kelly Brochu of Bath Tech's Graphic Design Dept. printed them.
Shout out to Heather and Jess for helping during set up and check in and check out.
Jenny did an absolutely PRO job bartending with Lisa H. The fabulous and hilarious Johnny Ater was the best emcee we could ask for - he even donated his earnings! Thanks to Liz and Bert Wyman for delivering drinks and to Karen B for the lemonade and ice tea station.
Thanks to EVERYONE who participated in both the online and in-person auctions. And the MANY local businesses and individuals who donated cash and items.
Our community's businesses came together for us. Take a look at the list! (below) Let's return the favor by frequenting their establishments and showing our appreciation.
Besides our business supporters, thanks also to those who donated live auction vacation stays - Jim James, Dave and Kristina Philips, and Amy and Mike Martin - and Stephanie and Mike Hart who donated vodka and potatoes. And to the LOSAM Fund and Wright Family Fund for grants and the many many individuals who support Project Graduation with their money, time and talents.
It was a ton of work but also a huge success and a load of fun and definitely worth it.
See y'all this Wednesday!
Lisa

We are a community of friends and family creating a memorable and substance-free end-of-high school celebration on June 8th for all 164 graduates of the Morse Class of 2025!
We aim to provide senior graduating students a safe and memorable overnight event at no cost to them or their families. We want 100% of the graduating seniors to participate without a financial burden. No funding is received through the school, so students and their loved ones work together to fundraise. The Morse Project Graduation 2025 benefits 164 Bath, Maine, seniors and the surrounding towns.
Check out our Event Details below! Join our Facebook Community for pictures, news, and announcements, or help the committee with planning and volunteering on our Facebook Group. Follow us on Instagram
Get signed up with a passport sheet and Volunteer, Participate, and Fundraise. We will sign off on your entries at events. Completed passport books are entered into a raffle for a BIG PRIZE at Project Graduation 2025.
Keep checking for new events each week for more chances to WIN.
Each donation of time and money, big or small, gives our community peace of mind and excitement for graduation. We can't do it without you!
