Interesting...
Is it possible to get a scan of a sheet without the PNC?
What secures the PNC - a seecond pocket from that housing the black sheet?

jimdotwalker ...good question :!:

It is a A3 black carton sheet which is scored through the middle.
The windows are on both sides die-cut, so are the holes for the ring-binders.
The pages come "pre-assembled"
The windows are thermo-formed PVC and are mounted with double-sided tape on both windows.
All you do is, place your PNC on one side of the window-blister, remove the pre-mounted carrier-paper off the double-sided tape, fold it and apply some light pressure where the adhesive tape is....and the page is ready to store in the album! :D
It takes 1 minute :D

To me, the cost appears poisonously dear. Tolerable if ONLY for yourself but as a investment added to PNC's the cost needs drastically deducing. Sorry IMO.

reddies: you can fill a Hagner ($ 1.60) sheet with 60 stamps worth $ 5.00
you can store your $ 200.00 Queen Elizabeth II Accession 2002 in a shoe box...or in a fully protected page cost $ 3.40

- no finger prints
- no damadged corners
- no scratch marks

nightwatchman: yes Australian + New Zealand PNC's :D Cheers

The appeal of this product to me is that I can place my PNC's and PMC's (which are a little more bulky than the typical FDC) into a display sleeve to show it off.

I intend to perhaps contact and or decorate the blank sections of the sleeve with details about the PNC/PMC. Right now, mine are all sitting in a little green box I purchased. I like the idea of them sitting nicely in a Binder folder on the shelf.

I think the price is reasonable, and one might think would reduce over time as production becomes a more efficient process and the materials used to make them perhaps changes and become cheaper.

Also, increased sales, would mean you could then get it made in bulk, which would surely cut costs, which then may be passed onto the customer.

Peter, do you think there will be any option of getting them made in white at some stage?

Hi Lou,

Now we have to watch very carefully what the moderators hmm! are going to do, since this is the Sell - or give away thread
And as we all know the Sheriff  is "out of town" and we don't want him to put us " in place" from "where-ever" he is :!:

Here the response should be: "sold to me", or "mine"

Why don't we use the following thread for discussion

Philatelic Numismatic covers "PNCs" DISCUSS here, which I think Glen started
http://stampboards.com/viewtopic.php?f=24&t=277

So I will answer your question over there OK?

Cheers

MODERATOR COMMENT:

Reddies
, as this post is in your usual fractured, unedited English and typical confrontational style, I can only say it "probably" breaks Rule 15 -
15. Please do not be openly critical of other member's asking prices on the thread. If someone new lists a used 1913 1d Kangaroo at $10, all other members know it will not sell. It simply will vanish down the page with no responses, and that member might get the message it really was over-priced. Also do NOT make "counter offers" on threads. If something is priced at $50, and you want to offer $40 - do so by board email to the seller. Likewise re members giving away material free - it is a nice Community gesture, and if it does not interest you - do not comment on it, or its value in your view - thank you.

In view of the fact that I cannot be 100% certain that you have broken this rule, I will - on this occasion - take no further action.

However, PLEASE consider carefully what you are posting.

Thank you.

I like this idea. Look very "hagner like" and will fit the same binders.
They might steal your idea off you though!

Did I read correctly Peter that you have used 2 sheets of black board that then fold together? That should make it nice and stiff as well.

Dear Reddies- It's simple, if you think it's too expensive.... make your own!

It looks like a A4 Christmas card, so yes after inserting the cover and close the card, it will be as stiff as a  black stock book page!

Hope these are a success. They deserve to be.

I have recieved my PNC Album Pages and I have got to say, I'm impressed. They are alot lighter than I thought they would be. Versitile - but definitely not flimsy.

My only desire here, and I know for now it will not be possible - is to have them in white so I may decorate the sleeves.

I consider these to be VERY reasonably priced for the quality and the purpose they undertake. A Fantastic Product, and Peter, I will take 100 more. I'll email you to discuss payment.

Over the weekend I will take some pictures and post accordingly.

Hi Peter, I would like to order another 10 pages please.

These are great for displaying PNC's and would be great for dealers who wish to display the more costly PNC's at shows and fairs.

I will e-mail you regarding postage etc.

Hi Peter,

The PNC pages arrived safely packed with my other item!

I liked the insert cover very much.

There are three or four new PNC's on sale in this months PO
Stamp Bulletin. The pages will be good for storing my Gould League covers and the ones with the little aeroplane.

I had them in a box that Aust Post put out for FDC's. Nice box, but that is a very costly box to hold ten or so covers. The PNC pages make them more accessible and both sides can be viewed so I will be ordering more in the future.
