I am raising money to help support the British Heart Foundation's ongoing research.  The British Heart Foundation has provided invaluable support to me over the last few months. This is my way of giving something back, but also is creating an essential personal target.

The BHF has helped halve the number of people dying from heart and circulatory disease in the UK but sadly every day hundreds of people lose their lives. It's only thanks to support from people like us that the BHF can create new treatments and discover new cures. £25 could pay for an hour of research by an early career scientist, but every pound helps so please give what you can to help me hit my target.

Any donations will be greatly appreciated.  And, of course if any of you fancy joining Kathleen and I on the bike ride, then that'd be great too....
