Namaste Devotees and friends,

Thank you! From the bottom of our hearts, the Board of Trustees of Sri Siva Vishnu Temple sincerely appreciates your continued support of our temple. 

Your contributions have helped us welcome all devotees and visitors to our temple and our temple made significant strides in many fronts. From annual religious festivals to many cultural concerts and performances, to welcoming many of our children to in-person educational classes.

We held a successful Sri Guha Ghoshanam Mahotsavam in August - where our Pradhana Acharya, Dr. T.S. Shanmukha Sivachariyar, officiated this Mahotsavam for masses. The lead up to the Mahotsavam included a marquee concert by Smt. Raji Gopalakrishnan, along with a concert by our resident nadaswaram artists, as well as Guha Ghoshanam discourses by Sri Sivachariyar. 

Along with our annual puja services, renowned artists and performers performed on our stage at the temple. A highlight from our Educational Committee was the opening of our Library - readers of all ages can now browse and reserve a book from our library. Devotees can take the book home just like any other public library. We hope these programs, and services have helped you remain connected to our Sanatana Dharma.

This year, our temple took on many important projects as well! A major project we started and completed this year was the Granite project. This project would not have been possible without your contributions. We also renovated the lower-level flooring and painted the walls and doors. Our temple also made significant strides on many on-going capital projects - including the Sri Siva Vishnu Temple Sai Aradhana Center. 

Today, we are proud to announce that we are on track to complete the SSVT Sai Mandir by Fall 2024. We have worked diligently with an architect to obtain the necessary building permits and have solicited bids from competent contractors. We anticipate construction to begin in January 2024. This nearly 2,100 square foot facility will be a place for Shirdi Sai Baba devotees to visit on our temple grounds. The two-level Sai Mandir will also include a meditation hall for devotees. 

This year’s fundraising effort is targeted to getting this project completed. With a planned completion date for Fall 2024, we will deliver on this project for our devotees - and your contribution of any amount will make it possible. 

Finally, we formally invite you to save the date to our Annual Fundraising Gala - Saturday, December 2, 2023. From the comfort of your own home, tune in to a fun filled evening consisting of musical performances by recognized Indian playback singer, Unni Menon, featuring Sai Vignesh, and Varsha S. Krishnan. Hear more about the state of the SSVT Sai Mandir, as well as significant accomplishments from the year.
