Welcome to York University and Calumet College! As a new student in Psychology (PSYC) we invite you to join us for Summer 2024 (SU24) Academic Orientation. The goal of Orientation is to help you build skills and access tools to be successful in your academic career. Starting on Thursday, May 2nd and throughout the summer we will be offering Orientation events to help you create a sense of belonging by meeting staff, faculty, alumni, and students and giving you an opportunity to experience our Student Success programming and the opportunities available to you to be a successful student. Our first Orientation event will be on Thursday, May 2nd, 2024 and you will learn more about Calumet College, services available to you, the Calumet College Council, and student clubs, and you will have an opportunity to ask any questions you may have, and meet your peers who are also starting their academic journeys. We strongly encourage you to attend ALL the Orientation events throughout the summer as they will cover different topics and areas to support you as you start at York University. We have specifically picked a time and virtual format for the first event to make the first event accessible to all students and we encourage you to treat it as mandatory. Below you can tell us your preferred time and format for subsequent events. Based on your questions and areas of interest we will create additional events throughout the summer for you, approximately one per month in June, July, and August. Summer Orientation starts on Thursday, May 2, 2024. Please find the details below.
