A-list wedding crasher! Ed Sheeran swoops in on unsuspecting bride and groom’s big day... and performs amazing rendition of Thinking Out Loud for their first dance

He’s been winning hearts all over Australia during his national arena tour.

And on Thursday, Ed Sheeran's charm offensive continued after he delivered a surprise performance during newlyweds Matt and Kya's first dance.

The Lego House hitmaker played wedding crasher and singer extraordinaire at the lovebirds' nuptials in Sydney, which was pulled together by the KIIS FM team including Kyle Sandilands and Jackie ‘O’ Henderson.

Taking to Instagram the 24-year-old mega star shared a touching snap with the beaming newlyweds and their children.

‘Just surprised this lovely couples [sic] first dance. Available for weddings, birthdays and bar mitzvah's, contact your local super market for details,’ the good humoured popstar penned to his some 3.1 million followers. 

In the snap, the red-headed crooner places his arms around the pair, who are clearly taken aback by the VIP guests chummy demeanour.

Ed looked wedding ready in a smart white shirt, skinny tie and black trousers.  

Moments later Kyle and Jackie O shared another photo from the event, writing: #BREAKING Our #KJWedding is actually our#KJwEdding with Surprise Guest Ed Sheeran!#KJSurpriseGiveback @teddysphotos.'

As if that wasn’t enough, the Grammy Award-nominee got behind the microphone to woo the crowd with a dreamy rendition of his smash hit Thinking Out Loud as the bride and groom danced away.

Matt and Kya landed their dream wedding after Matt called into the radio show revealing plans were underway for their vows to take place a few years ago, however tragedy struck when Kya's mum died.

The couple spent their savings on a funeral and delayed tying the knot.

Teaming up with the Sydney Bridal Expo, the radio stars have truly gone above and beyond expectations by securing the one and only Ed.

Meanwhile the star's good pal and cricketer Shane Wane appeared to have organised a bespoke jersey for the Give Me Love hitmaker.

'Hey Ed !!! Look what the Aussie boys made for you, are you backing the boys today ? See you on the weekend buddy,' the sports star wrote on Thursday in reference to Australia playing India at the Cricket World Cup in Auckland, New Zealand.
