Soule Homestead Volunteer Sign-Up 

Volunteers are the engine that powers Soule Homestead. We couldn't do it without YOU. Join our community of volunteers who are passionate about a sustainable future and engaged in diverse projects around the farm. We integrate volunteers into almost every aspect of our operation - helping out with events, farm and building maintenance, educational programs, and more. Some people help with one event per year and others are at Soule Homestead weekly. Regardless of how much time you can spend with us, please know we deeply appreciate your willingness to help out at our non-profit in Middleborough, MA. Below are a few areas around the farm where we are looking for your help. Fill out as much or as little as you are interested in and skip any that do not apply to you. Please be sure to hit submit at the end of the form. We will contact you based on your interests and as the needs arise. Event Volunteering:
Event Volunteering includes events such as our Summer Concert Series, Sheep Day, Harvest Festival, Farm to Table Dinner, Workshops, and more. 
Event set up and/or tear down - (examples: cleaning, setting up tables, tents, and or chairs)
Parking Coordinator
Admissions Sales
Concessions Stand Sales and Service
Merchandise Sales
Open Mic Nights & Movie Nights - Saturday Evening Events - Parking or Concessions
Around the Farm and Building Maintenance:
Animal Care, Cleaning, and or Feeding
Landscaping, Grounds Maintenance, and or general garden area care
Building Maintenance - this could include anything from sweeping and tidying the barn, cleaning classrooms, and or painting. 
Children's Garden Maintenance - weekly during the growing season
Trail Maintenance
Fence Maintenance
Educational Volunteer: 
Helping in the kid's craft and play area during festivals
Helping at First Farm Fun events (generally one Tuesday a month, May - Oct)
Helping with elementary school field trips on-site at Soule Homestead
Helping with kids' workshops (for example crafts)
Helping to prepare educational or craft materials for camps, events, and/or field trips
More volunteer opportunities: 
Working a Soule Homestead Info table at OTHER local area events. (These would not be at Soule. Examples: A simple kid craft and handing out brochures about the homestead at local area fairs.)
Posting event flyers in the community (for example at libraries and other community spaces)

Workshops: We are always interested and eager to add workshops to the farm schedule. These can be for adults, kids, or both. If you are interested in teaching a workshop at Soule please tell us a little about yourself and what kind of workshop you would like to lead. Be sure to tell us if you have led a workshop or similar program before.  
Educational: We are similarly interested in hosting educational walks and talks at Soule. If you have animals to share, know a lot about local plants/birds, star gazing, etc. and would be interested in leading an event of this kind, tell us more below. Be sure to tell us if you have led an education program, or similar program before.
