IC Helping Hands brings international and domestic students together to develop friendships and teamwork skills, while strengthening and supporting our greater community through service-learning projects. Students will volunteer, in the Orange County community, at various sites including beach cleanups, food drives, homeless shelters, and many more.

For this community service project, we will be contributing our time and hard work in collecting seeds on the Newport Banning Ranch site and/or work in the native plant nursery. We will be collaborating with "Newport Banning Land Trust," an organization committed in the restoration and monitoring of plant growth and health, and wildlife. Students will work together with the staff to achieve their mission goal. (http://newportbanninglandtrust.org)

Social Event: After the volunteer work, we will come back to campus and hold an social activity at the University Town Center. The social event is optional. However, we highly encourage everyone continuing join us and hang out with all other volunteers.
