Alzheimer's Disease sucks! And the worst part is after losing loved ones and seeing family and friends currently dealing with this awful illness, there is still no cure. The best thing we can do is put as many resources as possible toward finding a cure while providing support, counseling and love to current Alzheimer's patiences and their families and caregivers.
The Struggs are a Chicago based rock / alt country band who recently released their 2nd LP, Laundry List of Ghosts. In 2018, the band raised funds for Salute, an organization that supports post 2000 military veterans. This year, the Struggs are partnering with Haymarket Brewery in Chicago to host an event raising money for The Alzheimer's Association. On Friday, August 23, the band will perform live at Haymarket Brew Pub in Chicago's West Loop. This fundraising event will also feature a set by Matt Derda and the High Watts and of course, Haymarket's tasty beers!
Please help if you can by donating to this worthy cause, and come on out to Haymarket on August 23 for a night of live music, craft beers, and good people!
