Shabbat Evening Services - Friday, March 13, 7:15 pm
"Envisioning the Relational Synagogue of the 21st Century"
The twentieth century paradigm of engaging Jews with Judaism relied on programs and “fee-for-service”...and it's not working so well in the twenty-first century! Relational Judaism is a shape-shifting approach to Jewish outreach that emphasizes a warm welcome for those we seek to engage, opportunities to hear their stories, and face-to-face relationship-building that offers a path to a life in community of meaning, belonging, and blessing.

"The Seven Questions You're Asked in Heaven" - Saturday, March 14, 10:50 am - noon
at First Parish, 23 Dedham Ave
For centuries, rabbis have imagined that when we get to heaven we will be asked questions about how we lived our lives on earth. In his book, 'The Seven Questions You're Asked in Heaven' (Jewish Lights Publishing), Dr. Wolfson explores what three rabbis suggest we will be asked in this profound exercise of cheshbon ha-nefesh, an “accounting of the soul.” It's not about heaven at all; it's about how we live our lives now that counts.
"Relational Judaism": A Workshop on Crafting Community - Saturday, March 14, 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm
at Temple Beth Shalom
This interactive workshop will focus on relational strategies of welcoming, ‘quality engagement,’ and an exploration of twelve principles of relational connection, culled from Torah text and six cases of cutting-edge organizations already shifting the paradigm of community life from transactional to relational.
"God's 'To Do' List" - Sunday, March 15, 9:00 am - 11:00 am
Isn't religion all about human beings looking for God? Actually, Judaism emphasizes the opposite - the idea that God is looking for us to be God's partner on earth. But how? How do we become God's agents? In his book, 'God's To-Do List: 103 Ways to Be and Angel' and 'Do God's Work on Earth and Be Like God: God's To-Do List for Kids' (Jewish Lights Publishing), Dr. Wolfson suggests that we look at how God acts in Torah as our guide, leading us to a life of meaning and purpose. There is no charge for breakfast. Come and Enjoy! Special Thank you to TBS Brotherhood!
