The Turtle Trial (Montana Mischief Book 1) Kindle Edition

4.4 out of 5 stars 10 ratings

Meet the Reishus boys: brothers Randy, Mike and Johnny, and their cousins Oliver, Dickie and Tim. It's a sweltering summer day on Uncle Dick's Montana ranch. The boys go for a swim in the watering hole and discover a big snapping turtle at the edge of the pond. Randy ignores his cousin's warning and teases the turtle. The turtle bites him! What happens to the turtle after that? Is he guilty of a crime or was he simply defending himself? Find out how six boys decide a turtle's fate in this entertaining story based on the author's boyhood experiences. Comical illustrations fill the book with humor and bring all of the characters to life-especially the tormented turtle!

I thought it was a really cute book. I think that it would be a book that young boys would like to read. The pictures are great, but I'm kind of partial to them because it was my brother who drew them. I would really like to see more of these kind of books tho. I really liked reading this book.

I thought the Turtle Trail was a very humorous book that children will enjoy. Country kids often swim in creeks, rivers or cattle watering ponds as there are no swimming.pools available. They share these places with the wild habitat that live in the area.. Rita Reishus Chandler
