- Reviewed in the United States on September 16, 2015I'm a word processor who has worked in the financial field for years and had to pass a test at a temp agency for law firm work. This book gave me the information that I needed to pass the test with flying colors! It goes into great detail about features of MS Word that are used regularly in law firms. It's a great reference!
- Reviewed in the United States on September 19, 2014Excellent book. I have only recently made the move from Word 2003 to 2010 and this book I one of the best guides that I have found for Word 2010, and I have a substantial library of books on Word from Word 97 onward. I highly recommend it.
- Reviewed in the United States on January 23, 2013Finally! A book that lends a hand to advanced formatting for Legal Documents. I didn't have to course through the entired book, I just looked through the index and found the chapters I needed.
Wasn't disappointed at all and I recommend it if you work with formatting legal documents.
- Reviewed in the United States on June 22, 2012I think probably the audience of this book is only for readers with academic legal background. I am trying to find easy to read guidelines or flowcharts to follow to handle long document, this book does not meet my satidfaction.
- Reviewed in the United States on December 18, 2012I've heard great things about this book. I'm a WordPerfect law office person now getting used to also using Microsoft Word more for legal documents. I appreciated the detailed intsructions of producing Tables of Points and Authorities, Tables of Contents, and other advanced features. I've recommended the book to other legal professionals.
- Reviewed in the United States on May 5, 2013If you are a legal professional, this is the book for you. You can tell that this drawn from real world experience. Would be worth it at 10 times the price.
- Reviewed in the United States on June 28, 2012Maybe I am jaded, but this is a book that has little to offer if you have struggled with Word for many years in the legal setting. Perhaps for the beginner it might be helpful, but for motion writing it had little to add over the books I already own.
- Reviewed in the United States on February 4, 2014This is a great study guide for getting to know your way around word in a very specific way. I would recommend this one for sure.
