The Manatee Habitat Women Build project brings women from all walks of life together to actively address the issue of substandard housing. Women volunteers are leading all aspects of the project including construction, fundraising and marketing. Lowes, a national sponsor of Habitat Women Build, will provide local workshops for volunteers interested in learning basic construction skills. Additional sponsors include New Village Church and the Arnold Simonsen Foundation, Manatee Habitat Women Build Founders Club and Friends of Habitat.
Would you like to learn a new skill? Mark your calendar for Saturday, January 12th at 2 PM. That’s when Lowe’s (7395 52nd Pl. East, Bradenton, FL 34203) is offering a class on INSTALLING SIDING. Take the class and come put your new-found knowledge to work on the jobsite.

Manatee County Habitat for Humanity has a Build Book on line which is used as a guide for each step of construction: www.manateehabitat.org/site/BuildBook/index.html. Everyone is invited to participate in these Classes and Construction at Hope Landing regardless of level of experience.
