Sara Kucharski, owner of True North Bookkeeping, is thrilled to be speaking to us and answering all of our questions about small business bookkeeping!
After studying Financial Planning at Fanshawe College in London, Ontario, Canada, Sara started her career as a Financial Advisor at TD Canada Trust and held a variety of leadership positions in the distribution sector before moving to Denver, Colorado in 2015 with her husband, Patrick.
Sara, while working as an Office Manager in Colorado, saw a great opportunity to take her Financial Planning skillset and start freelancing on the side as a bookkeeper. ”I always wanted to work for myself and utilize my skills in providing businesses with processes that will set them up for success,” she explains.
During COVID lockdown, and with the potential of an upcoming relocation to another state, Sara saw another opportunity to assist others in keeping their books and business on track and decided to take the leap to turn her freelance bookkeeping into a full-time career. True North Bookkeeping now serves businesses locally and across North America with monthly bookkeeping, payroll, training and more.
While she is very busy with True North Bookkeeping, she has also been concentrating on continuing to grow and develop her real estate photo editing business, Real Estate Photo Fix. These convenient services offered to real estate photographers and professionals provide remarkable image edits that will help sell properties and/or provide images of what a property could look like inside and out. She offers Image Enhancements, Virtual Staging, Virtual Twilights and more.
Sara, her husband Patrick, and their 3 big dogs have made Milford their home since 2020. Sara enjoys the Milford community and the support she has received while living here. She continues to support local and has enjoyed participating in groups such as the Huron Valley Chamber of Commerce and Women In Milford.
