Please join us at Henna Night, on December 6th!

One of the beautiful benefits of the Youth Tutoring Program is that it brings people of diverse backgrounds together to grow in knowledge and appreciation of each other's culture. Friends of YTP have frequently indicated that they'd like an opportunity to learn more about the cultures of the students we support. 

On December 6th, we invite YTP friends and supporters to join us in learning about the art of henna, an art practiced by many families of youth enrolled in YTP. We'll start the evening with an historical overview of henna by renowned henna arist, Kree Arvanitas. You're then invited to sit for a henna application by one of our volunteer henna artists. Concurrently, we will celebrate with East African and Middle Eastern food and music from those regions.
