My name is Michael "Yogi" Borys and I suffer from two chronic disorders, Syringomyelia and Chiari malformation. I was dignosed in 2001 and my life changed forever.

I cannot begin to explain the pains and aches that I wake up with each and every morning. Every day and night brings a different pain, numbness, ache, tingling, etc. I never realized how nice it was before all this happened to be able to wake up in the morning and be pain (symptoms) free. It is just something we take for granted.

For several years I have held different event to help raise awareness and funds for the American Syringomyelia & Chiari Alliance Project (ASAP) to support programs and research. The inititives ASAP has taken over the years have made a difference in the lives of thousands. Please join me on June 2nd to help make a difference.
