Meet Our Presenters:

Laura Morlando

Laura Morlando The Stress Commando combats the stress in your day one solution at a time. Laura is a speaker, coach and clean beauty expert. Her greatest joy is transforming her clients from being stuck and stressed to productive and confident. Laura has over 26 years of corporate and entrepreneurial expertise helping clients in over 6 international markets.

Laura is serving her 2nd term on the American Business Women’s Foundation as Secretary/Treasurer. She has been a member of The American Business Women’s Association for 16 years and is a past District II Vice President and Trustee for the Stephen Bufton Memorial Educational Fund. Laura graduated from ABWA’s Park University, Women Leaders In The 21st Century October 2014 and has completed six other APEX Suite of Courses. Laura also completed the ABWA Stanford University, Scaling Up course October 2014. Laura was chosen to represent ABWA at the 2013 Marine Boot Camp / Educators Workshop in San Diego. Laura is featured on the cover of the New York Times Best-Selling Author John Maxwell’s book, Everyone Communicates. Few Connect. She also serves as a volunteer and volunteer speaker for The American Heart Association.

 


Lillian Kennedy

Lillian Kennedy is a retired educator that guided over 7,500 students’ personal and academic growth for 32 years in Minnesota and Texas. She was appointed to various leadership positions throughout her career. Lillian is most proud of her trusted 14 year tenure as District Treasurer of Student Council because it was an annual peer appointed position. Lillian holds both a Bachelor of Science in Business Education from Wiley College and a Masters Degree in School Counseling from Amberton University. Lillian currently serves on various organizations including American Business Women’s Association, ABWA, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., Board Member of Dallas County Appraisal District, Oak Cliff Women's Club, Mentor for Kids Hope USA Mentoring Program, Volunteer for Dallas Independent School District Schools (J. W. Carpenter Elementary School, David W. Carter High School). Lillian is the Vice President of Membership for the ABWA’s Outlook Positive Express Network, OPEN. She is focused on expanding her network to learn from and to connect with other professionals. Lillian believes it is important to “meet people where they are” so as to make a difference in this society.
