Register your child(ren) here for the upcoming AccelerateKID Hackathon at this year's Maker Faire Detroit in the Henry Ford Museum on July 29th, 9am-6pm. Deadline for registration is Wednesday, July 7th at 12PM EST. We will be sending you a confirmation/follow-up email on Wednesday, July 6th if your child(ren) has been selected to participate.

PLEASE NOTE: All kid participants must be between grades 6-8 at the time of the hackathon, must bring their own laptop to the event and have designed at least one game or animation using MIT SCRATCH (www.scratch.mit.edu). Each participant will receive a FREE ENTRY PASS to Maker Faire Detroit for BOTH DAYS (July 29th and 30th) and will be provided a lunch and snacks during the hackathon event (July 30th). Participants will be grouped into random teams and will need to be at the hackathon throughout the day. Each team will be required to do storyboarding, developing, debugging and presenting their final design to win big prizes. Spots are limited and registering early is an advantage.
