Angel Venom Kindle Edition
As they mature, this special bond deepens, and Nathanael becomes much more than Madalyn’s protector. He is the man she will marry in a big church with all the trappings.
Nathanael has other plans. Though he loves Madalyn with all his heart, he has long ago dedicated his soul to the work of God. Now, more than ever, missionaries are needed to bring God to the savage Fetis. Nathanael is convinced that he can avert another bloodbath like the one that orphaned him and Madalyn.
Another sentient creature lives on Neworld. He is the last of his kind and fascinated by the frail bipeds that have spread like a plague across the land. Except for his six wings, they are physically identical, down to the jointed fingers. Could these bipeds be strong enough to bear his seed? Will his mighty race finally live again?

About the author

If Kim McDougall could have one magical superpower, it would be to talk to animals. Or maybe to shift into animal form. Definitely, fantastical critters and magic often feature in her stories. So until she can change into a griffin and fly away, she writes dark paranormal action and romance tales from her home in Ontario, Canada.

- Reviewed in the United States on April 27, 2012Format: KindleVerified PurchaseDid you ever reach the end of a book that seemed sort of intriguing, and just want to scream or say "what the h@@@!!". Yeah, it was like that. The writing was good, the concept was interesting, but.... If this being (who is supposedly very intelligent) wanted to re-start his race, he really screwed up with his approach to humans. Even after studying them for a few generations. The way of how it was done was really cool, though.
So, it was a good read right up to the last approx. 3 paragraphs. Then you can have the appropriate frustrated response. Unless of course you like that kind of ending. Personally, I like mostly tidy, or at least introspective, endings.
In the story, it briefly gives the perspective of the being, what he's thinking or planning. At the very end, if that had been added, perhaps it would not have caused my reaction. It gives the plans of the other main character. It gives a limited view of how he feels(gut reaction) about what happened at the end. But what is he planning to do after that point? Did he actually learn anything from the way it played out?. It doesn't need to say where things went, just give more of a hint into the potential of where it might go.
