Application for Directorship in Residential Advisory Board (RAB)
Hello! :)

Upon completing this application, you will be considered for Directorship in the Residential Advisory Board (RAB).

The Residential Advisory Board (RAB) comprises around 20 to 30 Student Directors and spearheads programs that connect students across the various residential halls and builds community on campus. You might have joined us during some of our events such as Tie Dye Party, Avengers: Infinity War premiere, or Sushi Night.

Backed by resources from the Office of Residential Life, RAB Student Directors have opportunities to imagine, plan and initiate events across the residential halls. If you have a vision of how you want our Hopkins community to be and you’re passionate about uniting people, maximizing fun and making someone’s day, we want to hear from you!

Directorship in RAB is a great opportunity to be connected to Community Living and to gain skills that are relevant and crucial for future leadership roles such as being a Residential Advisor or other student leadership positions.

Director Expectations:
- Meetings: Directors are expected to attend weekly discussions that last about 1 hour and a half and go from 4PM - 5:30 PM on Sundays.
- Events: Directors work in small teams to carry out events once every 2 weeks. Teams will have the flexibility to schedule their planned activities and programs around their availability.

We are excited for the spring semester ahead. If you have queries about this application or about RAB, feel free to email us at hopkinsrab@gmail.com
